POC tests – quick tests right here in the pharmacy
With a POC test (point of care) we measure selected blood values directly in our pharmacy – using high-quality, reliable devices. A small prick in the fingertip is all it takes; the result is ready in about 15 minutes – without a lab and without a long wait.
What are POC tests good for?
- Checking a value regularly or in between, for example as part of a health check-up.
- Simply for your own information.
- Seeing whether a value has changed, for example after a change in diet.
- As a prompt: if a value is abnormal, you know a visit to your doctor is worthwhile.
How it works
- Book an appointment online – or get in touch with us directly.
- We briefly explain the procedure and take a drop of blood from your fingertip.
- The device measures the value.
- After about 15 minutes you get your result. We explain it to you and give you an assessment or a note on the reference values.
- You receive the test result as a PDF, also digitally via the platform sicherversorgt.at.
